Bradley Soshea is a Partner in the firm’s Houston office, focusing his practice on the defense of claims brought under The Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, the Defense Base Act (DBA), the Jones Act, as well as General Maritime claims.
A former official with the U.S. Department of Labor, Bradley has extensive experience in insurance defense, maritime litigation and workers’ compensation. During his tenure with the Department of Labor, Bradley was appointed District Director at the Houston office of the Department of Labor’s Division of Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation. Additionally, Bradley is a former Chief Administrator for the Longshore, Defense Base and Non-appropriated Funds Instrumentalities Acts for the district covering most of the central United States. In addition to his ongoing success litigating cases in administrative tribunals and on appeal, Bradley actively serves as a consultant to employers and insurance carriers and is a mediator for maritime and DBA claims.
Bradley obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Dallas and earned his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center. He is licensed to practice law in the state of Texas and is admitted to every Texas state court, the US District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas, and the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals.
