Christopher R. Cumberland is an Attorney in the firm’s Panama City office and focuses his practice on Civil Litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Chris served as In-house Counsel for a security products manufacturing company wherein he developed expertise in the areas of tortious interference with contracts, patent infringement, breach of contract and unfair and deceptive trade practices. Additionally, Chris has extensive experience in the areas of criminal defense, real estate and condominium law, family law, estate planning, probate litigation and bankruptcy. Chris has also successfully litigated workers’ compensation cases at both the trial and appellate levels.
A native Floridian, Chris obtained his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Central Florida. Chris earned is law degree from The Florida Coastal School of Law in 2003. Prior to practicing law, Chris interned with the World Trade Center Office in Orlando, as well as with Congressman Jim Davis in Washington, DC.
Chris is a member of the Bay County Bar Association, the Bay County Chamber of Commerce and the Young Lawyers Division of the Florida Bar. He is a qualified to issue Title Insurance through the Attorney Title Insurance Fund (ATIF). Chris is licensed to practice law in the State of Florida and the Federal Court for the Middle District of Florida.
