Heath S. Eskalyo is a Shareholder out of the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office and is member of the management committee. A Civil Trial Litigator, Heath focuses his practice on OSHA, Defense Base Act claims, Insurance Fraud, Workers’ Compensation and construction law. Heath is an "AV" rated attorney, an honor that identifies a lawyer with very high preeminent legal ability and is a reflection upon the lawyer's experience, expertise, integrity and overall professional excellence.
Heath is a member of the American and Broward County Bar Associations, the DOL Joint Bar Association and is past Chairperson of the Workers' Compensation Section of the Broward County Bar Association. Additionally, he is member of the Construction Association of South Florida, the Builders Association of South Florida, the Association of General Contractors, Society of Human Resources Management and the Risk Insurance Management Society. He is a Florida Certified Educator and frequently speaks to managers, claims examiners, attorneys, and judges on various aspects of OSHA, Defense Base Act and Workers’ Compensation law, at local and national trade and educational seminars. Additionally, Heath serves on the Board of Directors for The Victory Center, a nonprofit organization that provides education and services for children and families affected by autism and developmental or behavioral challenges.
Heath received his bachelor’s degree from Ithaca College before earning a law degree from City University of New York in 1993. He is licensed to practice law in Florida and New Jersey and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.
