Joseph Costello is an associate in the firm’s Family Law and Criminal Defense departments. His practice focuses mainly on family law matters, where he has trial experience. Joseph also has experienced in criminal defense, domestic violence and civil litigation, and traffic matters.
Joseph’s professional involvement includes membership with the American Bar Association. Outside of the office Joseph is actively involved in various charitable events and organizations.
As an undergraduate, Joseph attended the University of Kansas from 2000 to 2002, where he was also a member of the University’s baseball team. He received his Bachelor’s degree with honors in History, along with a minor in Communications from the University of Florida in 2005. He earned his law degree from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center in 2009. During his time as a law school student, he was a member of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society’s Executive Board, and co-produced the school’s first and second annual Sports and Entertainment Law Symposiums. Upon his graduation from law school, he was an invited guest speaker at the third annual Sports and Entertainment Law Symposium on the issue of publicity rights of amateur athletes. Joseph has been a member of the Florida Bar since 2009.
