Limor Ben-Maier is a Partner in the firm’s Houston office, focusing her practice on the defense of claims arising under the Longshore and Workers’ Compensation Act, the Defense Base Act (DBA), the Jones Act and General Maritime claims. Limor also has extensive litigation experience with personal injury, product liability, consumer protection, medical malpractice and Social Security Disability claims.  Limor has also prevailed on numerous appeals on behalf of her clients.

Prior to entering private practice, Limor was an Attorney with the United States Department of Labor, Office of Administrative Law Judges, assisting with drafting Decisions and Orders related to the Longshore Act, DBA, Non-Appropriated Funds Instrumentation Act, the Davis Bacon Act/Service Contract Act, Sarbanes-Oxley and the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act.

Limor graduated magna cum laude from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2004 and obtained an LL.M. in Admiralty, with distinction, from Tulane in 2005. While in law school she served as the Associate Editor to the International Law Journal. She is an active member of the DOL Joint Bar Association and the Maritime Association. She is also a member the Houston Bar Association and the American Bar Association. Limor is licensed to practice law in Florida and Texas.  Limor is fluent in Hebrew.
