Mark Salinero is an Attorney in the firm’s Miami office, where he assists in handling matters related to liability and casualty defense.
Prior to joining the firm, Mark worked as an Assistant Public Defender for the Law Office of the Public Defender in the 17th Judicial Circuit of Florida. Mark has represented indigent clients in criminal cases ranging from misdemeanors, to more serious second and third degree felonies. He has extensive experience litigating jury trials and arguing evidentiary motions.
Mark also served as a Legal Consultant for the City of Miami Office of the City Attorney, where he assisted in matters relating to employment law and workers’ compensation claims, including attending public and private workers’ compensation claims mediations.
Mark earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Florida International University and then went on to earn his Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Miami. While in law school, Mark earned the Dean’s Certificate of Achievement award in Criminal Procedure. He also received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in the Miami Law Innocence Clinic, where he investigated innocence claims from clients convicted of criminal charges. During law school, Mark served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Judge Joan Lenard in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, as well as a Legal Intern for the Office of the Federal Public Defender of the Southern District of Florida.
