Mauricio Vaca is an Attorney in the firm’s West Palm Beach office where he assists in handling matters related to General Liability, First Party Property Insurance Defense, Commercial, Intellectual Property, and Criminal Defense.
Prior to joining the firm, Mauricio worked as an Associate Attorney for a statewide corporate defense law firm where he gained extensive experience litigating general liability, commercial, and complex litigation matters. His background includes handling all aspects of litigation in various legal arenas, including tort, products liability, wrongful death, commercial vehicle, contract, asbestos, and toxic tort. Mauricio has handled cases for a variety of clientele ranging from small businesses and individuals, to established Fortune 500 companies.
Additionally, Mauricio worked as a Legal Clinic Intern at a boutique law firm where he gained key experience in intellectual property, business, and international law litigation. In that capacity, Mauricio assisted in representing national and international clients in trademark, copyright, and corporate disputes.
Mauricio earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations, with honors, with a minor in Sociology from Florida International University. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law. During law school, Mauricio served as the Subscriptions Editor for the Journal of International and Comparative Law and served as Clerk to the Honorable Judge Jeffrey R. Levenson in the 17th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida.
