Michelle J. Gomez is Of Counsel in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office, focusing her practice on Real Estate Transactions, Real Property Litigation, Estate Planning, Probate, and Mediation.
In addition to her Of Counsel role at Kelley Kronenberg, Michelle serves as the President of Saunders, Curtis, Ginestra & Gore, P.A., an established Fort Lauderdale law firm. Michelle has extensive and comprehensive experience in foreclosure litigation, shortsale negotiations, loan modifications, mediations, claims of lien, residential, commercial, and timeshare closings, writing and reviewing title policies, quiet title litigation, tax deed sales, probate, and estate planning. She has represented various clients in these areas including, major financial institutions, non-profit organizations, and condominium associations.
In addition to her legal practice, Michelle serves on The Fund Circuit Advisory Team for Broward County, is an approved title agent for Old Republic National Title Insurance Company issued through Attorneys’ Title Fund Services, LLC, and is a member of the Attorneys’ Real Estate Council of Broward County.
Michelle is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Court Mediator and County Court Mediator, who is a certified Residential Mortgage Foreclosure Mediator, and trained as an Elder Mediator and Bankruptcy Mortgage Modification Mediator. In addition she is trained as a Florida Court-Appointed Arbitrator. Michelle also plays a large civic role as a Commissioner in the City of Tamarac and has served terms as Vice Mayor.
Michelle earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication, Legal Institutions, Economics, and Government (C.L.E.G.) with a minor in Psychology from The American University in Washington, DC, where she also went on to earn her Master of Arts in Public Communication. A native New Yorker then moved to Florida where she worked as the Special Events Coordinator and then as the Director of The Dan Marino Foundation. While at the Foundation, Michelle started attending Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center. During law school, Michelle worked as a Legal Division Intern for Impact Sports and as a Management Council Law Clerk for the NFL.
