Oscar Lombana is a Partner in the firm’s Miami office where he assists in handling matters related to First Party Insurance Defense and Property claims, Third Party Liability cases including casualty claims, and Complex Commercial Construction Disputes.
Prior to joining the firm, Oscar worked as an Associate Attorney for a statewide, full-service law firm, where he assisted in handling various types of insurance defense litigation, including trucking, medical malpractice, premises liability and general negligence matters. He also previously served as an Assistant State Attorney in the 12th Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office, where he handled a high volume caseload and conducted over 15 jury trials.
Oscar earned his Bachelor of Science Degree, magna cum laude, in Political Science from Florida International University. He then went on to earn his Juris Doctor Degree from University of Florida Levin College of Law. While attending law school, Oscar was a member of the Florida Moot Court Team and founded the UF Law Cuban American Bar Association Chapter. Oscar also received the Pro Bono Project Outstanding Achievement Certificate, a Book Award in recognition of receiving the highest score in Business Torts, and earned the Fredric G. Levin College of Law Merit scholarship.
Oscar is fluent in Spanish.
