Reena Patel Sanders is a Partner in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office focusing her practice on Mortgage Foreclosure Litigation and assisting banks and other financial service providers with regulatory, enforcement, transactional and litigation matters. Reena assists with managing the firm’s Real Property Litigation group.
Reena represents major financial institutions and mortgage servicers in various counties throughout the state in non-jury trials, lender liability litigation, and complex commercial and residential mortgage foreclosure actions. She represents clients in matters involving the Truth-in-Lending Act (TILA), the Fair Credit Reporting Act (along with state credit reporting acts), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions (FACTA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA and the Consumer Protection Act Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA).
Prior to joining the firm, Reena worked as a Litigation Administrative Attorney where she assisted the Litigation Supervising Attorney with management of the Litigation Department and handled various litigated matters representing financial institutions.
Reena earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Villa Julie College n/k/a Stevenson University. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor degree from the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law.
She is fluent in Hindi and Gujarati.
