Richard S. Unger is a senior associate representing clients throughout South Florida in all areas of Workers’ Compensation in various industries. Prior to joining the firm, Richard represented employers and insurance carriers on Workers’ Compensation matters and assisted corporate clients with the development of programs for more cost-effective management of Workers’ Compensation claims and insurance costs.
Richard has practiced law for more than two decades, arguing cases before the First, Third and Fourth District Courts of Appeal in Florida. He is admitted to the Florida Bar as well as the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He is a member of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Broward County Bar Association and the Broward County Chapter of the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS). Richard has also presented seminars and lectures on a variety of topics related to Workers’ Compensation issues.
He received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida, and his law degree from Mercer University College of Law.
