Shanon Lazarus is an Attorney and the Marketing and Business Development Manager at Kelley Kronenberg. Shanon is an integral part of the firm’s marketing team, and works with marketing leadership to develop and implement the firm’s overall marketing, communications and business development initiatives.
Shanon works closely with the marketing team in planning, coordinating and directing all business development and marketing related activities. She is responsible for supporting the vision, objectives and ongoing coordination of Kelley Kronenberg’s overall business development and client service functions. She works closely with the firm’s Attorneys in the identification and pursuit of business development prospects, and assists them in developing and executing strategic marketing and business development plans/programs.
Further, Shanon guides Attorneys in the maintenance of existing client relationships, provides insight on relationship expansion opportunities, and helps to facilitate internal cross marketing initiatives. Shanon oversees the creation and implementation of marketing and business development collateral, including digital marketing materials, and traditional media/communications pieces, to ensure it is fully integrated and aligned with the firm’s brand.
Prior to joining the firm, Shanon worked as a contract attorney in a complex Civil Litigation firm with an emphasis on Products Liability, Medical Malpractice and Mass Tort claims. Her background includes experience in various areas of law, marketing and licensing. This experience has helped her transition her traditional legal background into legal marketing and business development.
Shanon earned her undergraduate degree in Legal Studies with a specialization in Criminal Law and Individual Liberties and a minor in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida. She received a Master’s of Science in Business Management (MSM) from the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. In 2011, Shanon obtained her law degree from the University of Miami School of Law, where she worked as a judicial intern for the New York Supreme Court and as a music licensing intern for a global music and entertainment company.
