Valerie Barnhart is a Partner in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office, focusing her practice on business transactions, data privacy and security matters, and general liability defense.
Valerie advises clients in all aspects of business and risk management, such as data privacy and security, including compliance with data protection and privacy laws, contractual matters, corporate governance, purchase or sale of assets, non-compete agreements, formation of business entities, subcontractor agreements, customer contracts, shareholder agreements, and operating agreements. Valerie also handles First Party Insurance Defense and General Liability Defense, including Property and Casualty claims, Premises Liability, Negligent Security, Product Liability, and Automobile Negligence.
Valerie is an adjunct professor at Nova Southeastern University and devotes substantial time assisting students who are preparing for the Florida Bar Examination, and serves as an elected representative on the Florida Bar Board of Governors Young Lawyers Division.
Valerie Barnhart serves as General Counsel to Infiltration Labs, focusing on business compliance and data privacy and security matters. Valerie is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) and a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) accredited by the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
