Michael Fichtel is the Managing Partner of the firm's Fort Lauderdale office and often serves as the liaison between the firm and many of our clients. Since 1987, Michael's practice has been centered in the area of insurance defense with a specialty in Workers' Compensation and a strong focus on client services, aggressive defense handling and cost-containment. He has spearheaded the firm's growth and diversification endeavors in an effort to provide full-scale and comprehensive legal services.

Michael graduated from the University of Florida before obtaining his J.D. from Nova Southeastern University in 1986 and being admitted to the Bar in 1987. Michael is a member of the Florida Bar Association, the Federal Bar and the Broward County Bar Association and the Council on Litigation Management. He also maintains professional membership in and association with SHRM, RIMS, WCCP and FASI. He is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell. A former college baseball player, Michael's sport is now centered on improving his golf game.
