The Firm’s Appellate Department handles appeals for all areas of legal representation at all appellate levels. Appeals which are filed by a claimant or plaintiff are meticulously monitored for any opportunity for dismissal in order to dispense with the appellate litigation. Appeals which the Appellate Department files on behalf of an employer/carrier/TPA, are aggressively handled within the appellate court’s deadlines, pursuing all available avenues of review, including oral argument. Prior to the initiation of an appeal, our Appellate Department handles an analysis of final orders and interlocutory orders for an assessment of the viability of an appeal, an appellate budget for the case, and an anticipated timeline for resolution of the appeal, so that our clients are well-informed when deciding whether to pursue an appeal.
