At Kelley Kronenberg, we believe the successful defense of a construction defect claim begins with an initial evaluation of the case, the damages or injuries involved, and the potential exposure to our client. Obtaining a client’s entire file is an imperative part of this process. By evaluating a case early, steps can be made to move toward an early settlement or dismissal, in order to save time and money. Each case will be evaluated in order to develop an individual approach and budget for each file - smaller exposure cases will involve less workup than cases involving more extensive exposure or personal injuries.
Strategy is developed on a case by case basis, with all investigation and discovery tailored to the facts of each case. Each case is given a customized approach.
All counsel and staff of Kelley Kronenberg are trained to constantly communicate with their clients in order to keep them informed of the progress of the case. Clients receive timely summaries and analysis of all discovery, depositions, settlement discussions, and substantive motions and legal work on the case. Future plans for investigation and workup will be discussed and suggestions made to the client depending on the extent of exposure in any given case. Client guidelines are of the utmost importance and will be strictly adhered to.
