Our firm’s environmental practice team is experienced in all areas of state and federal Environmental law, including the Clean Water Act (CWA), Clean Air Act (CAA), Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), Resources Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA), as well as other comparable state statutes. We possess a depth of experience with investigations and other civil and criminal matters, and handle a wide variety of regulatory and environmental cases.
Our background in environmental science provides a unique knowledge of the issues facing the regulated community, particularly solid and hazardous wastes, leaking underground storage tanks, drinking water, wastewater and water quality standards as they relate to permitting. We are also involved with the National Association of Environmental Professionals and its South Florida chapter.
When dealing with environmental cases, the Firm likes to get involved as early as possible in order to ensure the situation is properly responded to, evidence is preserved, and the site inspected or tested by experts. We offer customized, cost-effective legal counsel including risk reduction and methods for avoiding or minimizing compliance costs associated with regulatory requirements. Our staff also consults with technical and scientific experts.
