Walo joins firm’s Justice for Kids, Workers’ Compensation and Business Litigation Groups
Chicago, IL – April 22, 2021 – Kelley Kronenberg is excited to announce that attorney Julianna B. Walo has joined the firm’s Chicago office, where she focuses on workers’ compensation and business litigation. She is also expanding the reach of the firm’s Justice for Kids Division, a national practice dedicated to providing legal services to abused, disabled, and catastrophically injured children harmed in foster care, shelters, residential treatment centers, group homes, and other child welfare settings, as well as all children harmed by the acts of others.
On the business side, Walo assists in civil litigation matters, including commercial, transportation, construction, breach of contract, premises, product liability, and workers’ compensation issues.
As an attorney in the Justice for Kids Division, she represents children in personal Injury, civil rights, foster care, children’s rights, and sexual assault cases.
Prior to joining Kelley Kronenberg, Walo gained experience at a Chicago-based firm where she provided legal analysis of toxic tort, product liability, premises liability, and construction negligence cases.
Her diverse background also includes managing a child and adolescent mental health practice that provided psychiatric and therapeutic services. Additionally, she possesses administrative experience in children’s’ medication management, standards of ‘over medicating,’ changing medications, and the long terms effects children can experience after prolonged exposure to psychotropic medications.
