Andrew Kamensky is a Partner in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office focusing his practice on Chapter 11 Bankruptcies, Creditors’ Rights and Complex Commercial Litigation.
He has more than two decades of experience practicing law with an extensive background in transactional and litigation matters. Working as the lead attorney on matters large and small, his practice includes both in-court and out-of-court restructurings and the rehabilitation of financially distressed businesses. Andrew has counseled corporate debtors, trustees, court-appointed receivers, committees, financial institutions, buyers and sellers of distressed businesses, parties seeking to invest in and/or acquire the assets of financially troubled companies, and secured and unsecured creditors. He has represented public and private companies across diverse sectors including: Retail, Energy, Financial Services, Transportation, Manufacturing and Entertainment. His areas of expertise include debt restructurings, acquisitions and divestitures, risk assessment and minimization, corporate turnaround and governance, litigation strategy and crisis management. Andrew’s aggressive representation of clients has achieved very favorable results, whether through settlement or final court resolution.
Andrew is also a Florida Real Estate Broker.
Andrew received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Florida Atlantic University. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law where he graduated with honors and served as the Associate Articles Editor of the Florida Law Review.
