Brandon Weitzman is a Partner focusing his practice on general liability, first-party property insurance, commercial litigation and personal injury protection (“PIP”) Defense.
Brandon has extensive experience in representing privately held businesses in a variety of corporate matters, as well as local and national insurance companies throughout Florida handling personal injury protection and first-party property defense suits. Brandon works closely with claim handlers and special investigations unit (SIU) departments conducting comprehensive investigations including examinations under oath (EUO), thoroughly investigating suspicious claims to assist carriers in making well-considered insurance coverage determinations for both PIP benefits and first-party claims.
Brandon assists insurers in all aspects of coverage disputes, including responses to civil remedy notices of insurer violations, pre-suit investigations and coverage evaluations, declaratory judgment, and litigation. Brandon also has experience in estate planning, real estate law and homeowners association matters. He serves as an Adjunct Professor at Lynn University teaching Wills & Trusts and Business Law.
Before beginning his legal career, Brandon was a Branch Manager for an national bank, as well as a licensed realtor for a regional real estate agency.
Brandon earned his Bachelor of Science degree, as well as his Masters in Business Administration from Lynn University. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law.
Brandon is also a Certified Water Damage Restoration Technician, accredited by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification (IICRC).
