Brett Nordmeyer is an Attorney at Kelley Kronenberg, focusing his practice on first-party property insurance defense.
Prior to joining Kelley Kronenberg, Brett gained valuable experience through various legal internships and clerkships. Most recently, he served as a Law Clerk at a highly regarded personal injury law firm in Colorado. In this role, he drafted demand letters, pleadings, and discovery documents, while also assisting with mediations, settlement negotiations, and depositions. This experience honed his skills in civil litigation and client communication.
Brett’s legal background also includes an internship with a boutique real estate law firm in California, where he focused on commercial real estate and construction law. He drafted mediation briefs, lease agreements, and demand letters for breach of contract disputes, further developing his skills in legal writing and contract law. Most recently, Brett served as an intern in Kelley Kronenberg’s First-Party Property Insurance Defense division.
Brett earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, with minors in Business Law and Political Science, from the University of Miami, where he was named to the Dean’s List and Provost’s Honor Roll. He then obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado Law School. During law school, Brett participated in Moot Court competitions and developed expertise in Taxation Law, Intellectual Property Law, and Negotiation.
Brett’s commitment to community service is evident through his volunteer work with Special Olympics in Miami, FL, where he served as a volunteer coach for football and soccer, and his involvement with the Ronald McDonald House, where he helped prepare and serve meals to families in need.
