Overview

Brooke Evans is an Attorney at Kelley Kronenberg, where she focuses her practice on first-party property insurance defense. 

Prior to joining Kelley Kronenberg, Brooke gained valuable experience in various legal settings. She served as a Research Assistant for Professor Jennifer S. Martin at St. Thomas University College of Law, where she provided research support for the 2022 revision of a Lexis treatise on commercial and consumer warranties. Additionally, she assisted with research for an article on hybrid transactions challenging UCC Article 2 standing. She also served as an Academic Success Fellow at St. Thomas University College of Law where she provided academic assistance to first-year law students. Brooke also worked as a Law Clerk at a real estate law firm in Coral Gables, Florida, where she drafted legal documents for real estate closings and refinances, conducted closings under attorney supervision, and prepared wills and trusts. Most recently, Brooke served as an intern in Kelley Kronenberg’s First-Party Property Insurance Defense division.  

Brooke earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Legal Studies and Marketing from the University of Miami. During her undergraduate studies, she maintained a record of academic excellence, earning recognition on the President’s Honor Roll, Provost’s Honor Roll, and Dean’s List. Building on this strong foundation, Brooke pursued her legal education at St. Thomas University College of Law, receiving her Juris Doctor in 2024. At St. Thomas, she continued to excel academically, graduating magna cum laude. Her law school achievements include receiving the St. Thomas College of Law President’s Scholarship, consistent placement on the Dean’s List, and receiving CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Florida Civil Practice, Secured Transactions, Essay Writing for the Bar, and Social Justice, Religious Freedom and Cannon Law. Throughout her academic career, Brooke was also an active member of the Hispanic National Bar Association and is a current member of the Broward County Bar Association, further enhancing her professional development and legal acumen.
