Darla Dooley is an Attorney at Kelley Kronenberg where she assists in handling matters related to all aspects of First Party Insurance Defense Litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, Darla was an Assistant State Attorney in the Dedicated Insurance and Economic Fraud Division for the 13th Judicial Circuit. While in this position, Darla prosecuted insurance fraud, worker’s compensation fraud, construction fraud, grand theft, racketeering, elderly exploitation, securities fraud, and patient brokering cases. Darla has extensive insight and experience in the areas of business operations, internal controls, and financial positioning to assist in identifying methods of theft in economical criminal cases and determine the value of financial losses.
Darla received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a Minor in General Business from Eastern Michigan University. She went on to receive a second Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Florida Southern College where she was a President’s List Recipient. Darla obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Toledo where she was awarded the Honorable Frank Witt Wiley Scholarship.
