Overview

Francisco Abad is an Attorney at Kelley Kronenberg, where he assists in handling matters related to first-party property defense.  

Before joining Kelley Kronenberg as an associate, Francisco participated in the firm’s First-Party Property Law “Klinic,” a four-week program for newly licensed attorneys to receive comprehensive training in the area of first-party property litigation; upon successful completion of which, they receive placement with a specific team to independently handle cases alongside an experienced Partner.    

Francisco earned his Bachelor of Science from Florida International University, with a major in Criminal Justice. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami School of Law. While in law school, Francisco was acknowledged for his academic excellence, earning placement on the Dean’s list for the Winter 2020 semester. As he pursued his law degree, Francisco gained legal experience working as a law student to intern for the University of Miami School of Law immigration clinic. He also served as a law clerk for a local boutique law firm, where he assisted attorneys with every step of the litigation process. 

Francisco is fluent in English and Spanish and proficient in Portuguese.
