Jack T. Frost is a Partner in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office with an active trial practice focusing on the defense of claims against individuals and businesses involving wrongful death and serious injury resulting from brain injury, spinal cord injury, burns, and catastrophic orthopedic injuries. He has been successful in obtaining defense verdicts on liability from juries in several matters involving plaintiffs who had sustained catastrophic brain injuries and sought jury verdict awards for millions of dollars.
Jack is Board Certified by the Florida Bar as a specialist in Civil Trial Law with more than 30 years of experience representing insurers and insureds in all aspects of civil litigation. Jack has also been involved in many significant third party coverage disputes including cases that interpreted an insurance company’s duty to defend and indemnify, breach of policy conditions, claims involving bad faith and unfair and deceptive trade practices, as well as coverage obligations for commercial trucking, personal auto policies including uninsured motorist coverage, construction defects, pollution, trademark and patent infringement claims.
He also has an active practice defending insurance companies on first-party property damage claims involving both residential and commercial properties.
