Jacob Mayer is an attorney at Kelley Kronenberg, where he assists in handling matters related to First-Party Property Insurance Defense Litigation.
Prior to joining Kelley Kronenberg, Jacob worked as an Assistant Public Defender for the Office of the Public Defender, 19th Judicial Circuit in Fort Pierce, Florida. While in this position, Jacob was lead counsel in contested Criminal and Delinquency jury and bench trials tried to verdict as well as numerous Involuntary Commitment Hearings under Florida Statute § 394.467.
Jacob earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Missouri, majoring in philosophy with a minor in Religious Studies. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor degree from Barry University School of Law, where he graduated cum laude and received the Constitutional Law Book award. While attending law school, Jacob worked as a legal intern for the Office of the Public Defender in both Miami-Dade and Seminole County.
