Jerry Hosey is an Attorney at Kelley Kronenberg where he assists in handling matters related to First Party Property Insurance Defense Litigation.
Jerry is a native Floridian, originally from Liberty County in North West Florida. Prior to joining Kelley Kronenberg, Jerry worked as an Associate Attorney at an Am Law 200 firm where he focused on first party property matters. Jerry began his legal career in 2015 as an Assistant General Counsel for the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation, prosecuting licensed construction contractors, building officials and inspectors, and geologists; and later becoming Deputy Chief Attorney for the construction section.
Jerry received his Bachelor of Science degree in both Political Science and Interdisciplinary Social Sciences. He then went on to earn his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from St. Thomas University School of Law. While in law school, Jerry earned many distinctions including the American Bankruptcy Institute Medal of Excellence, Distinguished Law Student Award, St. Thomas School of Law Merit Scholarship, and CALI Book Awards recipient in Constitutional Law, and Bankruptcy.
