Attorney
Jonathan Giepert is an Attorney at Kelley Kronenberg, focusing his practice on first-party property insurance defense.
Prior to joining the firm, Jonathan was an Attorney handling first-party property claims, particularly those stemming from the devastations of the 2020 and 2021 hurricane seasons. His legal strategies led to a significant number of these claims being resolved even before reaching the litigation stage, while others found amicable resolutions through court-ordered mediation during the discovery phase.
Jonathan enriched his legal skills working closely under, and then alongside his father, at the Giepert Law Firm. His practice did not limit itself to either plaintiffs or defense work, affording him an exceptional chance to engage with litigation matters from both perspectives.
Before diving into law, Jonathan attended Louisiana State University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He was recognized as a TOPS Award Recipient and an Academic Scholarship Recipient. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, achieving the highest grade in Construction Industry Law.
When Jonathan is not hard at work resolving claims for his clients, he likes to spend his free time rooting for the Saints and LSU, or traveling and seeing live music.
