Joseph Sobecki is an Attorney at Kelley Kronenberg where he handles matters related to First Party Property Insurance Defense.
Prior to joining the firm, Joseph was a Junior Fellow with the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA), where he advised NDIA staff and drafted weekly blogposts on important legal developments within the defense industry and published an article on potential liability concerns for the defense industrial base in connection with COVID-19, entitled “Immunizing Industry Against COVID-19 Liability” in National Defense magazine.
Joseph received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Northwestern University. Joseph then went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law where he was a member of the Student Advisory Board.
While enrolled in law school, Joseph received the Book Award for receiving the highest grade in International Trade Transactions and served as a summer law clerk at the Office of the Illinois Attorney General in Chicago, Illinois. Joseph also volunteered with the Florida State University College of Law Veterans Legal Clinic. In this role, Joseph assisted military veterans with various legal issues involving family law, driver license suspensions, and DUIs in numerous jurisdictions across the States of Florida and Georgia.
