Lanice Smolar is an Attorney at Kelley Kronenberg, where she assists in handling matters related to Workers’ Compensation Defense.
Before joining Kelley Kronenberg, Lanice spent more than two years representing parties in Family Law matters, often appearing before the Mobile County Domestic Relations Court and Juvenile Court. For the five years prior thereto, her practice focused on representing debtors in Bankruptcy matters before the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Alabama. Lanice also gained extensive dispute resolution experience through her representation of Florida Home Owner’s Associations. In 2016, Lanice was recognized for her excellence by Legal Services Alabama, receiving the organization’s esteemed Super Star Award.
Lanice earned her Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Criminal Justice from Faulkner University. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor degree from Cumberland School of Law, Samford University, where she was an active member of Phi Alpha Delta, Women in Law, and Project Homeless.
