Lisa Stevens is an Attorney at Kelley Kronenberg, handling matters related to all aspects of general liability and third-party insurance defense. With her diverse background in civil, criminal, family, and probate law, Lisa brings a well-rounded perspective to her practice. Her expertise extends to complex civil litigation and matters of employment and immigration law.
Graduating summa cum laude from Minnesota State University, Mankato, Lisa earned a Bachelor of Science in Mass Media. She consistently placed on the Dean’s list throughout her undergraduate studies. She received numerous accolades, including the Outstanding Senior Award, Certificate of Excellence, Outstanding Sophomore Award, Department of Mass Media Scholarship, and the Mayo Foundation Scholarship. Actively involved in her university’s Pre-law Society, Public Relations Student Society of America, and Tri-Sigma, Lisa demonstrated her dedication to academic and extracurricular pursuits.
Lisa obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Minnesota Law School. She continued to excel academically during her time there, earning a place on the Dean’s List and the “A” Dean’s List. Lisa was also honored as a recipient of the Dean’s Distinguished Scholarship for her outstanding performance. Her exceptional achievements during law school include receiving the Great Cases Book Award, the International Law Book Award, the Transitional Justice Book Award, and the Outstanding Public Service Award.
Lisa actively engaged in activities that further enriched her legal education and practical skills. She participated in her law school’s Civil Rights Moot Court, honing her advocacy abilities and deepening her understanding of constitutional law and civil rights issues. Lisa actively participated in the Minneapolis City Attorney’s Office Mentor Program, where she gained invaluable information, advice, and access to the legal field. This program served as a catalyst for advancing her legal career, allowing her to leverage the knowledge and resources she acquired to great effect.
