Lisa Larmond is an Attorney at Kelley Kronenberg, where she assists in handling matters related to First-Party Property Insurance Defense.
Before joining Kelley Kronenberg, Lisa garnered expansive First-Party litigation experience in her role as Associate General Counsel for a national property and casualty insurance company. This followed an extensive career in the public sector wherein she channeled her passion for social justice through work as a managing attorney in the Domestic Violence Program Office of the Department of Children and Families, a supervising attorney for Women in Distress of Broward, and a senior attorney for the Statewide Guardian Ad Litem Office where she represented children who had been abused, abandoned or neglected by a parent or caregiver.
Lisa received her Bachelor of Science degree in Political Studies from Florida State University. Not long after, she returned to campus to earn her Juris Doctor degree from Florida State University College of Law. While attending law school, Lisa gained legal experience as a Research Assistant to the Dean, researching and presenting cases for consideration and possible selection for his textbook on Partnership Law. She also served as a Certified Legal Intern for the Agency for Healthcare Administration, an experience that included investigating overpayments made to Medicaid providers with successful recoupment through her representation.
