Martha Valenzuela is an Attorney at Kelley Kronenberg where she assists in handling matters related to First Party Property Insurance Defense.
Prior to joining the firm, Martha worked as a Law Clerk for a Fortune 100 global leader in property and casualty insurance where she conducted legal research and drafted motions. She also taught English Composition at the college level.
Martha received her Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and History from the University of Miami where she was on the Provost’s Honor Roll and Deans List and earned a Master of Arts degree in Literary and Cultural Studies from Carnegie Mellon University. Martha then went on to receive her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from St. Thomas University College of Law with a Certificate in Tax Law.
While enrolled in law school, Martha was awarded CALI Book Awards in Estate Planning, Property Focus for the Bar, and Seminar: Law, Literature, and Popular Culture. Martha was also an Articles Editor for the St. Thomas Law Review and was a volunteer in the Volunteer Income Tax Association (VITA) program.
Martha is fluent in Spanish.
