Michael L. Garcia is an Attorney at Kelley Kronenberg, where he assists in handling matters related to first-party property insurance defense.
Prior to joining the firm, Michael worked as an Assistant State Attorney for the 18th Judicial Circuit, where he gained experience as a litigation attorney specializing in criminal law. He managed a multitude of cases and conducted trials, including misdemeanors, felonies, and probation violations. His responsibilities encompassed conducting pretrial motions, notably those concerning Florida’s “Stand Your Ground” statute and collaborating closely with law enforcement on intricate matters such as Racketeering Involving Criminal Organizations (RICO) and exploitation of the elderly.
Michael graduated from Florida Atlantic University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in History, and a minor in Political Science. He went on to obtain a Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law.
