Rachelle Carnes is an Attorney at Kelley Kronenberg where she assists in handling matters related to First Party Property and Insurance Defense.
Prior to joining the firm, Rachelle worked first as a Law Clerk and then as an Associate Attorney at a statewide firm where she concentrated her practice on first-party residential and commercial litigation. Rachelle has experience litigating a multitude of claims, including sinkhole damage, water damage, wind and storm damage, fire damage, assignment of benefits claims, and bad faith claims.
While at the University of South Florida, Rachelle earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, summa cum laude, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature, summa cum laude. Rachelle went on to earn her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law.
In law school, Rachelle received the highest-grade distinction in five courses: Criminal Law; Aging and the Law; History of Western Legal Thought; Comparative Criminal Law; and Advanced Legal Research. Rachelle was also awarded the Victor O. Wehle Award for excellence in Trial Advocacy.
