Richardson Jean is an Attorney at Kelley Kronenberg, focusing his practice on business and corporate transactions, civil litigation, and tax law.
Before joining Kelley Kronenberg, Richardson was an Assistant State Attorney at the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, where he represented the state of Florida in criminal proceedings. In this role, he handled substantial caseloads of complex felony cases, litigated hundreds of motions, and conducted more than 15 jury trials to verdict. This experience honed his litigation skills and provided him with valuable courtroom experience.
Richardson’s legal career also includes various internships and clerkships that have contributed to his well-rounded legal perspective. He served as a Certified Legal Intern at the Lycoming County Public Defender’s Office in Pennsylvania, a Judicial Law Clerk Extern at the Centre County Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania, and a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Judge Tanya Brinkley at the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida. Additionally, as a Law Clerk in the Community Economic Development Unit at Legal Services of Greater Miami, he gained experience in corporate formation, tax exemption, and ADA compliance.
Richardson earned his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, cum laude, from Florida International University, where he was inducted into Phi Sigma Tau, the International Honor Society in Philosophy. He then pursued his Juris Doctor at The Pennsylvania State University, Penn State Law, receiving Certificates of Concentration in Taxation, Advocacy and Litigation, and Corporate Law and Practice. To further enhance his expertise, Richardson completed an L.L.M. in Taxation from the University of Miami School of Law.
Richardson is fluent in Haitian Creole, enhancing his ability to serve a diverse clientele.
