Shirley Pimentel Casado is an Attorney at Kelley Kronenberg where she assists in handling matters related to the defense of workers’ compensation claims on behalf of employers, insurance carriers, self-insured corporations, third party administrators, and claims servicing agencies.
Prior to working as an Attorney Shirley worked as a Law Clerk with Kelley Kronenberg where she conducted research on Workers’ Compensation issues and aided in discovery efforts. She also maintained cases and drafted various motions and settlement evaluations. Prior to joining the firm, Shirley interned at an immigration law office where she gained experience on immigration matters such as helping clients apply for political asylum and E.2. visas.
Shirley earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management and a Minor Degree in Psychology from Florida International University. She then went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center where she was a Dean’s Scholarship recipient. She was also the recipient of the Dade County Bar Association Women of Distinction Scholarship. Shirley is certified as a Guardian Ad Litem.
