Tiana Brown

Tiana Brown is an Attorney at Kelley Kronenberg, focusing her practice on workers’ compensation defense. 

Tiana has extensive experience in the legal field with a background in criminal defense. She previously served as an assistant public defender, representing clients in court on complex matters ranging from arraignment to substantive motions. Her professional history also includes work as a transportation security officer and master security training instructor, where she ensured public safety through situational awareness and critical thinking. Tiana also served as an executive vice president for a government employees union, preparing grievances and participating in alternate dispute resolution. 

Tiana earned her Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from Kaplan University, graduating magna cum laude. She then obtained her Juris Masters in Legal Studies from Liberty University. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from St. Thomas University College of Law, where she was a staff editor for the St. Thomas Law Review and ranked in the top twenty percent of her class. Tiana played an integral role within her law school’s community as a member of the Public Interest Law Society, Elder Law Society, and most notably the Caribbean Law Students Association, where she served as president. Throughout her law school journey, Tiana prided herself on coaching and mentoring first-year law students. Her dedication and commitment to first-year students allowed her to be named the first-ever Academic Success Program Fellow at her law school. 

Tiana has demonstrated a strong commitment to community service, founding multiple initiatives including a Wounded Warriors Veterans Day Ceremony and a program providing Christmas bags for the homeless. She has also volunteered with the Broward Pantry, Lotus Women’s Shelter, Legal Aid Service of Broward County, and the Florida Immigration Coalition.
