Miami, Fla. — Kelley Kronenberg, a full-service law firm, announced that Austin L. Flickstein joined the firm’s Miami office as an attorney. Mr. Flickstein handles Property and Casualty claims, including First Party Insurance Defense.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Flickstein was an Associate at a civil litigation firm that concentrated on the Defense of fraudulent insurance claims. He is experienced in handling insurance defense cases from the start of litigation through trial. His work in insurance litigation defense has led to numerous victories including successful motions for summary judgment, motions to strike plaintiff’s pleadings, as well as voluntary dismissals with prejudice. Mr. Flickstein’s background also includes extensive experience in personal injury protection (PIP) insurance defense. At the start of his legal career, he was an Assistant State Attorney at the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office where he prosecuted cases from the filing of charges through jury trial verdict.
Outside of the office, Mr. Flickstein is an annual fundraiser for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, a nationwide network of people dedicated to working together to advance research, support patients and create hope for those affected by pancreatic cancer. Additionally he serves as an annual speaker at Miami Dade’s Ethical Governance Day.
Mr. Flickstein earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations from the University of Florida and his Juris Doctor degree from University of Miami School of Law where he graduated cum laude and with double honors in litigation skills. He is admitted to practice law in Florida.
