Kelley Kronenberg Secures 93% Reduction In Products Liability Exposure For Manufacturer

Kelley Kronenberg Attorney Alexandra Mena successfully resolved a significant products liability case through strategic pre-suit negotiations, achieving a remarkable 93% reduction in exposure by settling the case for $40,000.00 in the face of an estimated exposure of $600,000.00.

This case centered on allegations against a major food manufacturing company after its glass container reportedly shattered during normal use, resulting in a laceration requiring stitches and leaving a permanent scar on the plaintiff’s hand. The case presented notable risk factors, including the visible nature of the scarring and the sympathetic aspect of an injury occurring during ordinary household use – factors that typically yield substantial jury verdicts, particularly with female plaintiffs.

Through skilled pre-suit negotiations and early intervention, Alexandra secured a resolution that exemplifies the firm’s commitment to efficient dispute resolution in complex products liability matters while preventing potentially lengthy and costly litigation.
