Attorney Christy Brigman has re-joined the full-service, nationwide law firm Kelley Kronenberg as a partner in the Fort Lauderdale office. She was formerly an associate with the firm before taking a brief hiatus. Ms. Brigman focuses her practice on defending insurance companies and individual businesses in general liability and construction defect ligation.
Ms. Brigman has also served as defense counsel in matters involving Negligence, Personal Injury, Wrongful Death, Premises and Products Liability, Negligent Security, Negligent Hiring/Retention, Automobile Liability and Commercial Trucking. She also experience with Dram Shop and Liquor Liability cases, Amusement Park claims, Intentional tort, Contract claims, Fraud/Misrepresentation matters, Deceptive and Unfair trade practices and Legal Malpractice, as well as Errors and Omissions for insurance agents and Insurance Coverage matters. Additionally, she serves as an appellate counsel for the firm.
Ms. Brigman’s background also includes extensive experience handling construction defect and environmental claims stemming from mold. She has represented all forms of contractors and trades on cases ranging from small residential construction to multi-million dollar commercial projects.
Ms. Brigman earned her undergraduate degree in Anthropology, cum laude, from the University of Florida. She received a full scholarship to attend law school at Nova Southeastern University and earned her juris doctor, magna cum laude, in 2003. She is licensed to practice law in Florida and is admitted to the Federal Southern District of Florida.
