MIAMI, Fla. — Kelley Kronenberg, a diverse, full service business law firm, announced that Donald S. Lavigne will serve as an attorney in the firm’s Miami office. Mr. Lavigne focuses his practice on First Party Property defense and Third Party Casualty claims.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Lavigne worked as a Law Clerk for the firm where he gained first-hand experience in First Party Property defense, Third-Party Liability, General Liability, and Insurance Fraud investigations. Before joining Kelley Kronenberg, he served as a Law Clerk for a boutique law firm specializing in General Liability, Medical Malpractice, Wrongful Death, Negligent Security, Slip, Trip and Fall Liability, Automobile Liability, Construction Defects, Products Liability, and Workers’ Compensation.
Mr. Lavigne also worked with the University of Miami Health Rights Clinic, helping to secure social security benefits, Medicare, Medicaid and United States Citizenship for several indigent individuals in Miami. In additional to providing pro bono legal assistance for indigent homeowners in Dade County, he has worked for the University of Miami Innocence Clinic and volunteered with Habitat for Humanity.
Mr. Lavigne received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of Florida, focusing on American Political History, and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Miami, School of Law. During law school, he worked as a Legal Assistant and Judicial Intern to the Honorable Miguel De La O of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida. He is admitted to practice law in Florida.
