Kelley Kronenberg To Host Thanksgiving Community Project with Harvest Drive Inc.

Fort Lauderdale, FL – Kelley Kronenberg will host a drive-thru food drive at their Fort Lauderdale headquarters on November 13th and 14th in conjunction with the Harvest Drive Florida’s 28th Year of Children Helping Children in Broward Schools. “Children Helping Children” is the recurring theme for the Harvest Drive.  This initiative is part of the firm’s ongoing Kelley Kronenberg Cares (KKC) program.

Firm employees will be volunteering time on November 13th and 14th to assist in collecting, organizing, and distributing supplies in shifts due to COVID-19 protocol to assist 120 local families with 2 full bags of non-perishable groceries and a gift card to purchase perishables to complete their Thanksgiving meal.

“This year, it is more important than ever to find ways to help families in our community. The impact COVID-19 has had on families has made the need even more urgent than before,” said Heath Eskalyo, Principal Partner and Chief Financial Officer for the firm.  “The choice Kelley Kronenberg made to share their team, their space, and their financial support with the Harvest Drive will enable 120 families to have a happier Thanksgiving.  Without this generosity, due to limitations at the schools resulting from COVID-19, the Harvest Drive could not have assisted these families this year.  Our entire team and our recipient families are truly grateful,” said Renee Herman, Harvest Drive Founder.

The food collected will be distributed to families in need referred by Broward County School social workers.  “There is nothing like bringing people together in the community to support those who need it most for Thanksgiving,” said Heath Eskalyo.

KKC was created to provide opportunities for the firm’s attorneys and staff to personally commit to civic and charitable efforts in the cities where the firm’s offices are located.
