Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – Kelley Kronenberg, a national full-service law firm, announced the addition of five attorneys to its Fort Lauderdale office. Newly acquired attorneys include Jonathan Abramson, Ami Gavarian, Yuli Kotler, Laura Naylor, Ilanit Sisso.
Jonathan focuses his practice on the area of property and casualty claims, including First Party Insurance Defense Litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Jonathan was a student attorney in the Florida International University College of Law Health Law and Policy Clinic, where he provided legal advice and representation in a number of health-related areas. After graduating from the College of William and Mary with a double major in Government and French, Mr. Abramson went on to obtain his law degree from Florida International University College of Law. He is licensed to practice law in Florida.
Amitai (Ami) Gavarian
Ami focuses on Workers’ Compensation law. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as a law clerk where he conducted extensive discovery for a federal class action suit and several other complex claims. He is a member of the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division. Mr. Gavarian received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida. He then went on to earn his law degree from St. Thomas University School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in Florida.
Yuli handles Workers’ Compensation and Subrogation matters for the firm. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as a legal fellow conducting legal research and drafting memoranda for the Essex County Prosecutors office. Mr. Kotler received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Rutgers University and earned his law degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in Florida and New Jersey.
Laura focuses her practice on Workers’ Compensation and Subrogation. Her background also includes experience in family law matters including divorce and modification custody issues. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Naylor worked as a solo practitioner and Managing Partner of a boutique law firm, handling Real Estate and Probate law matters. She has also worked in the legal arena for 20 years as a trial court reporter. Ms. Naylor is licensed to practice law in Florida and Massachusetts.
Ilanit handles Employment and Labor law matters. Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a law clerk for an Administrative Judge with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission where she analyzed claims of employment discrimination, conducted legal research and drafted memoranda. Ms. Sisso received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida and graduated summa cum laude. She later received her law degree from George Washington University Law School. She is licensed to practice law in Florida as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
