Kelley Kronenberg Adds Five Attorneys to Fort Lauderdale Office

Fort Lauderdale, FL- Kelley Kronenberg, a diverse business law firm, announces the addition of five attorneys to the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office. Miriam Brooks, Rachel L. Dobson, Jessica A. Giesen, Brandon T. Haas, and Jordan H. Lande join the firm as Associates.

Brooks assists in handling matters related to Employment and Labor Law. Prior to joining Kelly Kronenberg, Brooks was a shareholder at a civil litigation firm, in which she represented employees in various Employment and Labor matters.  Her experience representing plaintiffs gives her a unique perspective on employment defense matters.

Brooks earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Florida International University, summa cum laude. She then went on to earn her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Florida International University College of Law. She is admitted to practice law in Florida.

Dobson assists in matters related to Workers’ Compensation and Subrogation claims. Prior to joining the firm, Dobson worked as an attorney at various Florida-based law firms where she gained experience in Workers’ Compensation defense.

Dobson received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Syracuse University.  She then went on to earn her Juris Doctor degree from St. Thomas University School of Law, where she made the Dean’s List.  Thereafter, she earned her LL.M. in Real Property Development Law from the University of Miami School of Law. She is admitted to practice law Florida.

Giesen assists in handling matters related to Third Party Insurance Defense and General Liability. Prior to joining the firm, Giesen served as an Assistant Public Defender in Miami-Dade County where she gained experience representing indigent juvenile and adult clients with misdemeanor and felony charges from arrest through trial.

Giesen received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, cum laude, from Academy of Art University, where she was an NCAA Division II women’s soccer player and went on to earn her Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School. Giesen is admitted to practice law in Florida.

Haas assists in handling matters related to Workers’ Compensation. Prior to joining the firm, he gained experience in Insurance Defense Litigation while working as a Law Clerk for a boutique Fort Lauderdale firm.

Haas received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Florida and went on to earn his Juris Doctor degree, summa cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law. Haas is admitted to practice law in Florida

Lande assists in handling matters related to First Party Insurance Defense Litigation. Jordan assists insurers in all aspects of coverage disputes, including responses to civil remedy notices of insurer violations, pre-suit investigations and coverage evaluations, declaratory judgment and bad faith litigation. He defends property insurers throughout Florida in first-party coverage matters, where many of the claims involve sinkhole, windstorm, fire, mold, theft and water losses. Prior to joining the firm, he worked as an Associate Attorney where he gained experience in defending insurance companies in a variety of litigation matters.

Lande received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Florida and then went on to earn his Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law. He is admitted to practice law in Florida and Georgia.
