Kelley Kronenberg Adds Litigation Group and Expands into Downtown Miami with a New Office in the Heart of Brickell

Miami, Fla. – Kelley Kronenberg, a national, full-service business law firm, has announced further implementation of its expansion plans with the addition of a litigation group and new Brickell office space to anchor its expansion into the Miami market.

Jorge L. Cruz-Bustillo joins as Managing Partner of the Brickell office, bringing with him a team of attorneys from his previous position at a boutique law firm in Miami. The group focuses its practice on defending first-and-third-party insurance claims, as well as commercial and construction litigation.  Joining Jorge in the Brickell office are two of Kelley Kronenberg’s partners from the Fort Lauderdale office — Tanaz Salehi and Dominick Tamarazzo— along with several associates and staff to round out the Miami litigation group.

“We are so happy to join Kelley Kronenberg,” said Cruz-Bustillo. “This platform is a perfect complement to our current practice. The firm’s strength and depth of practices, as well as its presence across the state of Florida, and in Illinois, will provide our clients with high-quality, multi-jurisdictional capability. Kelley Kronenberg is an aggressive and growing firm that is creating a great deal of buzz in the market. We look forward to the challenge of growing the new office in Miami,” said Cruz-Bustillo.

The new office further boosts Kelley Kronenberg’s presence in South Florida, with Brickell becoming its fourth office in the South Florida area, while broadening and deepening the firm’s Property and Casualty defense practice state-wide.

“We are delighted to welcome Jorge to the firm,” said Michael J. Fichtel, a Principal Partner and the Chief Executive Officer of Kelley Kronenberg. “Opening an office in Brickell with such high-caliber lawyers is an important strategic move for the firm and our clients. Jorge is the right person to lead our continued efforts in Miami, and a new office in Brickell is critical in continuing to support our growth. Jorge will help us establish a stronger presence in the Miami-Dade legal market. Not only is he an exceptional lawyer, but he is highly respected and well connected in the local community. Jorge and his team, along with our new office, are very important pieces of our growth strategy.”

Kelley Kronenberg is leasing a temporary space on the 27th floor of the Sabadell Bank building located at 1111 Brickell Avenue. In June, the firm’s permanent office will open at 15,000 square feet in same building.

“Our new space will reflect our brand – modern, fresh and progressive,” said Fichtel. “We strive to make Kelley Kronenberg a great place to work, so our attorneys and staff can remain committed to providing our clients with legal representation epitomized by integrity, dedication, and perseverance. We are thrilled to be able to punctuate that effort with our expansion and new space.”

Kelley Kronenberg’s growth strategy has been steady and methodical over the past five years. The firm has increased its attorney roster and its revenues by more than 20 percent in each of those years. In the coming months, the firm plans to expand its services and legal footprint with the addition of several new partners and practice areas.

“If you look at how we have grown over the past five years, it is truly amazing,” said Fichtel. “We’ve more than doubled our attorney count and the addition of Jorge and his team has added tremendous momentum to our strategic growth. Our continued expansion will benefit our clients and resonate strongly with the market. We are on a roll so far in 2015, and do not expect to slow down any time soon.”
