FORT LAUDERDALE, FL — Ilanit Sisso, Attorney at the national full-service law firm Kelley Kronenberg’s Fort Lauderdale office, has been selected as the Junior Director of the Latin Builders Association (LBA).
Ms. Sisso concentrates her practice in the area of Employment Law, and Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) compliance and litigation. She has represented employers in a broad range of matters applicable to the workplace. She is experienced in handling litigation brought by employees involving employment discrimination claims under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Florida Civil Rights Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act. In addition, she has experience litigating wage and hour claims under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and retaliation claims brought under the Florida Private Whistleblower Act and the Workers’ Compensation Act. She also handles matters involving compliance and contested citations under OSHA, and Form I-9 requirements.
The LBA is the largest Hispanic construction association in the United States. The association works for the interests of builders, developers, contractors, architects, engineers, plumbers, electricians and tradesmen. They provide a vital forum for discussion, networking, training/development and representation at the local and state level.
