Kelley Kronenberg Hires Francis Magbanua as Chief Information Officer

Veteran IT professional focused on scaling technology platform for the firm’s continued growth.

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL— Kelley Kronenberg, a tech-forward, diverse business law firm, has hired Francis Magbanua as its Chief Information Officer.  The IT executive is tasked with enhancing systems and infrastructure to accommodate the firm’s continued growth.

Magbanua has more than two decades of experience in helping transform traditional business operations through the infusion of technological improvements and business re-engineering.

Prior to joining Kelley Kronenberg, Magbanua was the Director of IT for a law firm in Boca Raton.  He also worked in the hospitality industry serving as Senior Manager of IT for a company in Hollywood, Fla. and served as a Network Manager for Miami-Dade College.

“My top priority at Kelley Kronenberg is to build out our technology capabilities to seamlessly absorb the incredible growth we are experiencing, and continue to make us more agile in the future,” said Magbanua. “At the same time, we want to find ways to automate and streamline some of our processes to become more productive and efficient, all to our clients’ benefit.”

Kelley Kronenberg has more than 130 lawyers in offices throughout Florida and Illinois.  Magbanua will work from the firm’s brand new corporate headquarters in Fort Lauderdale.

The 35,000 square-foot, two-story office building incorporates the latest technologies including media- enhanced conference rooms and a mock courtroom equipped with cameras and monitors that enables clients to participate in trial preparation both locally and remotely.  Kelley Kronenberg is a paperless firm, relying more on digital solutions to store and manage case files and records.
