Kelley Kronenberg Names Eight New Practice Group Partners

Firm promotes Jordan M. Greenberg, Astrid H. Serra-Jovenich, Jeremy M. Mishali in Fort Lauderdale, Charles M. Prior, Brandon J. Weitzman, Shaye Schnier in West Palm Beach, Danielle A. Wallis in Miami and Michael J. Rigelsky in Orlando.

FORT LAUDERDALE/ORLANDO/MIAMI/WPB, Fla.  Kelley Kronenberg, a multi-practice law firm, name eight new practice group partners in 2020;  Jordan M. Greenberg, Astrid H. Serra-Jovenich, Jeremy M. Mishali, Charles M. Prior, Brandon J. Weitzman, Shaye C. Schnier, Danielle A. Wallis, and Michael J. Rigelsky from Attorneys to Practice Group Partners.

Greenberg focuses his practice on all aspects of liability and casualty defense with a focus on Third-Party Insurance Defense. Prior to joining the firm, Greenberg worked for a Florida insurance defense firm where he represented clients in general liability matters including premises liability, automobile negligence, negligent security, and product liability defense.

Serra-Jovenich focuses on Workers’ Compensation. Prior to joining the firm, Serra-Jovenich worked as a law clerk for a personal injury firm in Miami.

Mishali focuses his practice on First Party Insurance Defense Litigation. Mishali started his career in a civil litigation firm where he primarily handled First Party Property Insurance defense matters. He also worked as an Attorney at the Broward Public Defender’s Office 17th Judicial Circuit, where he litigated both misdemeanor and felony jury trials in County and Circuit Court.

Prior handles matters relating to General Liability, First Party Property Insurance Defense, and Criminal Defense. Prior to working at Kelley Kronenberg, he worked for a full-service law firm where he gained experience in all areas of insurance defense, managed a caseload of over 200 files, and efficiently litigated cases from inception to trial.

Weitzman handles matters relating to General Liability, First Party Property Insurance Defense, Commercial Litigation, and Criminal Defense. Weitzman has extensive experience in representing privately-held businesses in corporate matters including contract formation and drafting and filing necessary business documents, such as articles of incorporation, partnership agreements, lease agreements, joint venture agreements, independent contractor agreements, demand letters, waivers & releases, settlement agreements, non-competes, non-disclosure agreements, non-solicitation agreements, and confidentiality agreements.

Schnier handles matters relating to Workers’ Compensation claims on behalf of employers, insurance carriers, self-insured corporations, third party administrators, and claims servicing agencies.  Shaye’s prior experience provides her with a unique perspective and insight into insurance claims and allows her to better plan strategies and defend claims on behalf of insurance carriers.

Wallis handles matters related to First Party Property Insurance Defense and General Liability. Prior to joining the firm, she worked at a business defense law firm, where she represented corporate clients in bodily injury and premises liability matters. She also has experience in family law matters.

Rigelsky focuses his practice on civil litigation defense and risk management, including matters related to First and Third Party Insurance Defense, and counseling companies on strategic initiatives. Prior to joining the firm, Rigelsky worked both at a national law firm and as in-house counsel, including as General Counsel for a telecommunications data company.
