Kelley Kronenberg Names Three New Partners in Florida

Firm promotes Michael G. Albani in Tampa, George D. Lagos in West Palm Beach and Marc A. Marra in Fort Lauderdale

Fort Lauderdale/Tampa, Fla. — Kelley Kronenberg, a diverse business law firm, is pleased to announce the promotions of Michael G. Albani, George D. Lagos and Marc A. Marra from Attorneys to Partners at the firm.

Albani, who is based in the firm’s Tampa office, has excelled in matters related to Workers’ Compensation. Before joining the firm, Albani worked with the Office of the State Attorney 13th Judicial Circuit. While in this role, he assisted the Misdemeanor Division G Assistant State Attorney and grew his trial experience.

Albani earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management from the University of Florida where he graduated cum laude. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Florida Coastal School of Law, serving as a member of the dean’s list and receiving pro bono honors. He is admitted to practice in Florida.

Lagos, who works in the firm’s West Palm Beach office, is an experienced litigation attorney who focuses his practice on mortgage foreclosure and assisting financial service providers with regulatory, enforcement, transactional and litigation matters. Lagos began his law career as an Assistant State Attorney for the Palm Beach State Attorney’s Office, gaining experience prosecuting felony and misdemeanor cases. He has also obtained extensive contested foreclosure litigation experience as an associate attorney for various South Florida mortgage services firms.

Lagos earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania. He then went on to receive his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Florida, Washington, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the Florida Southern District Bankruptcy Court.

Marra practices out of the firm’s Fort Lauderdale headquarters, and focuses on assisting banks and other financial service providers with litigation related to real estate and bankruptcy. Marra is admitted to practice law in Florida, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida.

 

Marra currently serves as Director of the Broward County Bar Association, Vice-Chair of the West Broward Section of the Broward County Bar Association, and President of the Broward Section of the Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law Alumni Association.
